Government of Koss announces package of reforms for next year

ARCEU – The Government of Koss announced on Monday a package of reforms set to take place on January 1st, 115 (January 1st, 2017).

The package, drafted by Anax Lucas Campos establishes three new state organs: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE), Secretariat for South American Integration (SISD-MAE) and the Department of Interior (DoI). It transforms the current Department of Immigration into the Secretariat of Immigration (SI-DoI), an agency of the Department of Interior.

The reform also disestablishes the Sovereign Fund of Valites, returning 10 000 Austral Francs to the Royale which will be repassed to the State Company of Holdings and Investment according to the Ministry of Commerce.

The bill further calls for the change of jurisdiction of the Micronational Institute of Accreditation and Standardization (MISA) from the Secretariat of International Development (SDI-MdC) to a joint project between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture.

According to the Office of the Anax, the reforms will take effect on January 1st, 115 (January 1st, 2017). The Government is taking advantage of the holiday season to facilitate the transition and come back to normalcy on January 4th, 115 (January 4th, 2017).
